Thule EasyFold XT 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2020 Infiniti QX50- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Thule Easyfold bike rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. This is a premium rack with a bunch of premium features. You can tilt it away, you have a ramp included and it folds up to be more compact when storing in your garage or when you're on the road. So we'll talk about those features but it also has some downsides like it doesn't fold up, up against your vehicle. You still have a lot of length added to the back of you and also it does take a little bit of time to take the bikes off and put them back on. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Infiniti QX50- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima OnRamp bike rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. So Yakima OnRamp is pretty popular because it's designed for electric bikes with the ramp installed on the rack. That way if you're forgetful like me you don't have to have to remember to keep it in your car because you know it's on the rack, ready to go. Now even though it does have that great weight capacity and the ramp, there are some downsides too like how tricky it is to get the bikes loaded up. It does take a little of extra movements to get the bikes on there as well as to tilt it away. So we'll talk about that focusing on the QX50. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Infiniti QX50- Video
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the RockyMounts MonoRail two bike platform rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. The MonoRail is really popular because of its versatility, and also how you can get the premium features and specs at not as premium as a price as some other racks, which is great, because it keeps things affordable but still practical. There are some downsides to it too, like how you can't get a ramp added to this rack. But in the case of the Infiniti QX50, since the ground clearance is so low, you probably don't need a ramp. So, we'll talk about features like that. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Infiniti QX50- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Kuat NV 2.0 2 Bike Platform Rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. So the Kuat NV is a great pairing with the QX50 because it's a premium car and this is a premium bike rack, but you also have premium features with this. So if you have heavy electric bikes of up to 60 pounds, or even if you have children's bikes or fat tire bikes, this can fit them. You do get the included compatible straps as well as the adapters for those bikes, but you only get one of each. Now if this is gonna be a good fit for you, you can also get a ramp added onto this, sold separately. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Racks Destination four bike platform rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. So the Destination platform rack is a great way to carry around four bikes while still having an affordable platform rack and of the platform racks that can carry multiple bikes this is gonna be one of the most light as well as compact racks. The downside though is it's not or it doesn't have the premium features you would expect from the pricier racks like tilting away and great weight capacity. So we'll talk about how it fits our QX50. The main thing is if you do want to access your hatch real quick you are going to have to take your bikes off. So how is the bike mounted to this rack Well this has three touch points. more

The Destination 2 is one of my preferred bike racks if you're looking for something that's compact, portable and lightweight and also affordable. Now the downside to this bike rack is you do lose out on some premium features. Like if you need to access your hatch you have to take the bikes off. You can't just tilt away with the bikes on. more

Now the Sherpa is going to be a platform style bike rack, holding the bike by the wheel up front primarily here. We do have a secondary strap on the wheel in the back here, but this is gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes. Now, the Piston Pro is going to be a very nice high-end bike rack that's holding the bike by the tires. And that's gonna make it good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and with a 67-pound weight capacity per bike, even good for some of our e-bikes. Now, it is going to get a pretty good hold on the bike here, and it's going to function much like any other wheel-mounted bike rack, but it's gonna have some really unique features along the way. Starting off, though, we are going to have the ability to tilt the rack away with the bikes loaded by coming down to this lever here, pushing that in, and lowering the bike rack down. more

Now things I like about this first right off the bat is you are going to see that you we're allowed to bring four bikes to and from the trail. So if you have a family of four or if you have four friends, you can go ahead and bring them with you. Now, one thing I like to say about this is this is going to be a frame mounted but most of those carbon frame bikes you probably don't want to bring with you on this but this is going to be a nice economical way of getting a decent amount of bikes on that trail. more

Hey everybody, I'm Jared here at etrailer. Today I want to look at the Hollywood Racks Destination bike racks for two bikes here on our 2020 Infiniti QX80. Now this bike rack itself is very light. It was very easy to get into this two wrench hitch here which by the way, it does come in an inch and a quarter class one and class two. And also that two inch bike rack with a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike, you can get most of your decent sized bikes in here. Probably not going to get your carbon frame, of course cause it mounts to the frame itself. more

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Infiniti QX80- Video
Hey everybody. Jared here at etrailer.com and today I like to look at the Curt Premium 4 Bike Racks hanging style bike rack system for those two inch hitches here on our 2020 Infiniti QX80. This bike rack itself is built for a family of four and does have two load response up here and then it contours the shape towards the end here to accommodate for two smaller bikes without having to use that bike adapter bar. It does have nice reflectors at the end so, it is going to help with vehicles that are behind you that are going to allow them to see that you do have something extended on the back of your Infinity here. With 180 pound weight capacity, this bike rack is going to help you get those four bikes to and from the trail. Today today we have a 2016 Infiniti QX50 and we're going to be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack.This is a hanging style bike rack and it does allow you to get four bikes loaded up and it hauled to and from your destination. It's going to grip your bike at three different points. We're going to have nice thick rubber straps securing our bike. The rubber on the shaft is going to help make sure it doesn't harm or scratch the finish of our bike. We have two of the straps on our top tube, making sure it stays in the cradles. more

I have the bike on the rack, installed on our Infiniti here to give you a nice idea of how it would look. You can purchase an addition to this to convert this to a two-bike rack and that's going to be part number RKY10005, or you can get it as a kit as part number RKY10007-05.Let's go ahead and take a closer look at some of the features of this bike rack. This is pretty much a bike rack for a single person on the go wanting to hit the trails. Unlike most of the other one-bike platform racks, this one actually tilts away from the vehicle with the bike on it to gain rear hatch access, and if you we're to purchase an addition to it, it can tilt away with both bikes on it as well.To tilt it away, you come to the front here to this blue handle. Reese Explore Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Infiniti QX60- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Infiniti QX60, we're going to be test fitting the Reese Explore 4-bike rack for 2" hitches, part number 63124. We already have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look here and show off some of the features.Now a unique feature about this is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bikes attached, which is pretty different for a hanging-style bike rack. Now, we're not going to necessarily show that to you with this because I wouldn't necessarily recommend that because you could potentially damage bikes when you do that. Right now, we do have a road bike installed on this, but this will also work with mountain bikes, alternate frame bikes and kids' bikes, although in some cases you may be required to use a bike adapter bar, which is sold separately. At the end here, we also have this reflector here for better visibility at night.The cradles themselves have this padding on the inside here to help protect the frame once it's installed. more

Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2008 Infiniti G35- Video
Today on our 2008 Infiniti G35x, we will be test-fitting the Thule Doubletrack plaform-style 2-bike rack, part number TH990XT. This will fit class 1 or class 2 hitches, which are inch and a quarter. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we slide it in there we can go ahead and be sure to line up our pinholes, then we can take our anti-rattle bolt and thread it through. We'll go ahead and use our socket wrench to finish tightening it down. The anti-rattle system is going to help eliminate any rattle or wobble that we may have inside of our hitch, and it's going to fully secure our bike to our vehicle. more

Today, on a 2007 Infiniti G35, we'll be testing in the Thule Helium Aero 2 Bike Carrier for an Inch and a Quarter and Two Inch Hitches, part number TH9042. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver to the hitch, wind up the pin hole and allow our attached pin to fall into place. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurement. We have about twelve and a half inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Infiniti is about two inches and we've added about 19 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. As you can see, we can easily open up our front with the bike carrier in its upright position. more

Today on our 2006 Infiniti FX35 well be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4-Bike Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number th9027. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the pin hole and allow the attached pin to fall in place. Well move to the rear of the shank and use the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now well go over some key measurements. We have about 10 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 2 inches, and weve added about 8 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more
